K'eld of Blue Jeth
From his vantage point, just outside to cavern, Jeth let out a short bugle of joy. I want to see that done out here!!! She . . . . It . . . !!!! For once the Blue dragon was speechless, which surprised and made K'eld happy. Slowly, the Bluerider stood to his feet, hands clapping together high above his head. "That was incredible!!" he stated, moving until his thighs were pressed against the table. "So good, Jeth wants to you perform for him some time," he beamed, grinning from ear to ear. Now, he would have to visit the Holds on feastival days and watch the performers there.[/blockquote]

Arel stood up and bowed low to K'eld. She placed the knives on the table top then threw her legs over the table edge so she was now sitting on top of the table. Arel grinned widely at K'eld. "I'd love to perform for him. I'll start working on an act for him immediately." Arel turned her head down to the table and picked up the leather flask. She pushed the cork more into the flask and made sure it was a tight fit. She didn't want any unwanted fire shows. "I'm glad you both liked it. But I do want to tell you you'll never see a performance like that anywhere else. Only me and my brother can make the special liquid for that fire." Arel shook the flask lightly making the liquid inside swish around. "This is one of the many things that made our acts so popular."

K'eld of Blue Jeth
Sitting back down, K'eld only nodded as Arel stated that she would start working on a performance for Jeth immediately. "He would love that," The vain creature, he added on in his mind, causing the Blue to hiss as he withdrew his head, turning his mind back to the task of sunning himself. Sharding human, Jeth cursed, causing K'eld to shake his head at his dragon's attempt to curse him. You are too sweet to curse, my beauty. The Bluerider watched as Arel went through the toruble to make sure the cork was firmly in place, something he understood was needed. It would be bad if the cork slipped and the flaming liquid was split about the Weyr. Weyrwoman Akri would have a dragonet trying to get order once more. He nodded when she mentioned that the liquid was why she and her brother were so popular performers. "That I understand. It is an interesting little trick. One that must have taken you a long time to learn?" he questioned.[/blockquote]

Arel nodded as she put the flask back in her bag. "Yep. This is some pretty tricky stuff to deal with since it turns into flames when it comes into contact with air." Arel let out a chuckle as she scratched the her head. "You should have seen my brother's face when I accidentally swallowed some of this stuff. He was so freaked and worried that I would blow up if I even breathed, he almost laid an egg. I think I was eleven at the time...."

K'eld of Blue Jeth It surprised K'eld how much he was enjoying talking with Arel, while at the same time didn't surprise him at all. He had always gotten along with females a bit easier than with males, since nine times out of ten, if he was even speaking to another male, he had a bit more at stake to lose than the other male did. The Bluerider grinned as he rubbing his throat, imagining what it must have been like shallowing the liquid and how he could see how her brother would over react when she shallowed it. "An uncaring brother wouldn't have bothered with your health . . . Yet even a caring brother will show his concern by overreacting to something you have done that could possibly harm you," he stated, nodding. [/blockquote]

Arel grinned widely as she swung her legs back and forth. "But it was so awesome when it happened. For three days every time I sneezed flames would shoot out. It was so cool, it was sort like being a dragon!" Arel let out a laugh as she thought how her brother spent the whole time putting out the fires she started. "Ne, there's even the time I thought I could fly and jumped off that cliff. Relte nearly died when he saw me jump. Good thing that pond had been there."

K'eld of Blue Jeth
I know that one, K'eld sent to Jeth when Arel mentioned her brother nearly died when she thought she could fly. "When Jeth was younger, before we graduated Weyrling Lessons, he thought he could fly. Took a running leap off one of the lower private weyrs, landed on Onyx Svarth's tail and had to have a stern talking by the Onyx, Svarth's Rider, the Weyrling Master, the Weyrwoman . . . Just about the entire upper Riders. I thought I was going to die when I saw him sitting on the ledge of the weyr, bugling that he could finally fly," K'eld stated, hearing his dragon purring in laughter.
How was I to know that my wings hadn't built up enough strenght? I was only interested in one thing and one thing only . . . Getting off the ground and showing the other dragonets that I was more than capable at pulling my weight around the Weyr, Jeth stated.[/blockquote]

Arel let out a laugh. "That is so cool! I really wish I could be a dragon then I'd get to fly with my own wings!" Arel thought of her crazy dream of flying. People had always told her that people can't fly on their own, that it was impossible. Relte had never told Arel that her dream was impossible, he always told her that if she never gave up and tried her hardest she'd get her own wings some day. He also said it would happen in a way she wouldn't expect.

K'eld of Blue Jeth
That is an interesting dream for a human, K'eld heard as he cocked his head to the side, strands of white hair falling over his eyes. "Well . . . considering your a candidate to Stand at the next hatching, there is always a chance you can fly one day," he stated, nodding and grinning as he did so.[/blockquote]

Arel leaned back on the table and grinned. "I can't wait till there's a hatching then. I wonder what kind of acts I could do with a dragon?" Arel tried to think of what she would be able to do. "If I do get a dragon my brother is probably going to start worrying about me even more."

And'r made his way down to the lower caverns, Taryshth was demanding that he take her down to the lake and give her a bath.... again and not later, but today and now. Which of course meant that he would be missing lunch; So thinking ahead he made his way to see what was left and create a makeshift lunch for down at the lake. He was at one of the cavern entrences when a burst of firelight caught his attention from the corner of his eye. He spun startled what in the world.... is the kitchen on fire?!? and dropped his picnic basket he had brought for food. He had ended up getting the basket made from one of the crafts men when he realized just how much Taryshth would be forcing him to give her baths, and how many meals he'd miss if he didn't bring them along. The cooks had even come to expect him dropping in to pick up a lunch or other meal to go.
WHAT IS IT MINE, WHATS WRONG! Taryshth boomed worriedly after feeling And'rs combination of shock and dread.
And'r was amazed by what he was seeing, and just open up a visual feed of it in his mind to Taryshth. The preformance continued with her flipping high up into the air and then landing spewing more fir and juggling daggers, cutting the flame to make it into the shape of a blue dragon, spewing red fire. And'r was amazed.
That was unbelievable mine!
yes yes it was
I want to meet her now and see her preform! go ask her!!!
ok, ok. I will.
And'r stooped, picking up the basket that had fallen on the floor. Then walked over to the two. "Hey K'eld, hey Arel. How are you? oh, umm Arel... I've seen a lot of acts and have to say that yours might have to be one of, if not the, most amazing I've ever saw!"

Arel rubbed the back of her neck as she heard And'r praise her performance. "Thanks And'r, it took a lot of practice to get my acts any good. You should see the ones I do with my brother. This is nothing compared to the acts I did with him. He always made sure the acts would make everyone happy and entertained."

K'eld of Blue Jeth About to reply to Arel stating that she hoped there was a hatching soon, K'eld closed his mouth quickly with a 'clip' sound. Calm yourself, beautiful Taryshth, Jeth crooned to the younger Green when he noticed and heard her booming to Her's. She had most likely caught the tail end of the female candidate's performance through Her's eyes and was a bit frightened. His reaction had been the same, until he had understood what was going on.
"Greenrider And'r," K'eld suddenly stammered, his awakardness around males coming full force when the Greenrider watched in. For a moment, he had almost thought it was S'rian, but then if it had been him, Jeth would have let him know the moment the Blue had seen the Green. "H-h-how are you?" he questioned, already standing, as if he had been doning something wrong by sitting around, enjoying Arel's show. [/blockquote]

"umm are you ok K'eld?" And'r asked with a concerned look on his face, "Is something wrong?"
And'r did know much about the blue rider, the Blue rider kept to himself and his dragon most of the time. Then again, And'r was similar in ways, going of by himself; but that was different, he was just in his own little world most of the time, and he was outgoing in ways too, just more to indiviauls and smaller groups.
That was amazing wasn't it Jeth! A display almost as beatiful and grand as you! Why is yours stammering like that Jeth?

Arel stood and jumped on to the table K'eld had been sitting at. "Oy, you doing ok K'eld?" At least I now know something that makes him all shy. Over the turns she had gotten pretty good at reading people and finding out how they really feel. Her and her brother had to do that to find out what would be the best things for their acts.
