Lez watched the two for the longest timer. Her paitence was running thin, if they liked each other, then why didn't they just kiss each other. It was somewhat annoying to watch them look at each other so she groaned and thumped her head on the table. "Alright, now i think i may loose some brains." She couldn't help it, they were just getting so annoying. "I do hope the eye stareing stops, not to be rude, but I'm a girl too and i don't see any guys in this room doing the same with me or anyone else." She popped her head back up and grinned, if they were going to flirt, "YOu know what, get a room."
Be nice mine, you may get the same attention one day from our mate.
When that happens, make sure i don't do what they just did.
It will happen, and i won't stop it. She could hear her snort and chuckled while growling.

Ali blushed as he told her that she would make a great junior weyrwoman. "Oh, I'm sure Akri and Z'dan would let you do that and I doubt they would let me do something like that," she said softly. She had turned slightly red from him staring back at her. When Lez spoke about how they were looking at each other she broke her glance off of him and looked at the ground and was as red as a beet. She wish her hair could cover her face at the moment while she sat there. "Is it that bad Valexith dear???"

The Violet hiss of rage could be heard from out of the cavern. The lavender dragon's eyes could be seen from inside the cavern. Crimson, Riveth, if yours continues to be rude to Mine I will be forced to act. the violet mindvoice was less harse with the crimson. Her tail was moving back and forth like that a of a wild cat of the southern lands who was waiting for its prey. No AliMine your love for the boy is not wrong. the violet spoke more softly to hers.

And'r's face turned a crimson that matched Riveths hide or Ali's Fiery hair as he quickly broke eye contact after Lez's comment as well, gazing down at the table, almost wishing to just disappear. wow this is akward... the thought flashed through his head; followed by another, a flash back from the past, Grimicle sitting upside down on his head of colorful bright blue hair on top of a colorfully painted crate, "Now remember Andar most times a situation is only awkward if you make it that way." he had told him. "but what if the other person makes it awkward??? and its not awkward for you?" the young And'r, then still Andar, had questioned. "Hmmm well I guess your right, well thats covered under most; but still, a situation is only awkward if someone make it that way, that better." Grimicle had responded. "Yeah!" And'r had replied enthusiastically. "Those are some good thoughts, I think you could use a reward for listening through all my advice, here try some of this fruit!" Grimicle had said, spring up onto his hands and walking on them over to a small table with a basket on it. With his feet Grimicle opened the basket, picking up a piece of fruit by the stem and tossing it over to And'r. "THANK YOU!"" And'r said as he caught the fruit, cleaned it off with his shirt and bit into it; it had tasted very good. This flashback caused And'r to laugh slightly to himself and the redness in his face go down some as he was distracted.

MINE! what is going on over there? what is causing you to be so nervous???........hehehe, Wow that man, Grimicle, is one funny person. You sure knew some interesting people when you were younger mine.

Yeah, thats what happens when your wit a group of traveling performers, they're interesting people; always makes life fun to be around people like that.

So yes, why don't you take his advice and not be awkward around the other guy riders and accept the inevitable?

ONE, its NOT inevitable and two its not going to happen, my personal beliefs, it goes against nature.... not happening, no!!! We've been over this before.

And'r looked up blushing again, though not as much as he had at Lez's comments. "Sorry about that.......... I guess it was my turn to zone talking to my dragon....... oh..... and the laugh thing.... umm well I happened to think of a funny memory.... sorry. There used to be this member of the group of traveling performers I was in named Grimicle and he would.... wait, why don't I just show it to you through your dragons!" And'r apologized.

Kytes was attending the graduation ceremony. Both him and his Aunt Lyn had been invited as the nobles of the hold. He looked around at what the new riders were doing; One, the Onyx rider, was over sitting in a conner by himself with his dragon; There were two girls and a guy sitting talking over at a table, there dragons weren't with them so he couldn't tell what color/ranking riders they were; Another one was over talking with what looked like his sister and another rider; One girl had just arrived, riding in on her crimson. It looked like she had put a lot of effort into getting read, it seemed to have paid off and she looked very pretty; There was a group of guys over talking, he thought he recognized some from the previous graduating class, there was quite a few of them; another guy was over talking with H'lak; and finally, he thought he could see one late person coming up in the distance.

Kytes wondered which group he should go over, talk to and congratulate first on becoming riders.

Lez groaned and thumped her head back down on the table. The suspence was killing her. Could they get to the graduation already, it was once in a life time, not continue until you die life time.
Mine, be paitent will you. The graduation will soon end. She tried not to chuckle at her dragons coments in a rude manner. Mine, Taryshth shared a image with me, they want to know what you think.
Lez got the image and for a moment couldn't help but laugh, it was the most riduculouse, halariouse thing she had ever seen. Looking up at And'r she grinned. "And i though i was in a strange life."

[L'rien & Quentifith; for D'lain and Heiyath; Neboth]

L'rien grinned down at the bluerider. "You are," he agreed with a chuckle. "But who says silliness can't be a good thing? You can be a good rider and still give us all a laugh, right? I intend to. And...thanks."

He blinked at D'lain, and stepped back, pushing the bluerider away in a brotherly way. "Whoa, D'lain, no hugging, okay? Tackling or whatever to an extent - sure. But please no hugging. Save that for R'din." Sure, he liked the kid in a brotherly type way, but L'rien wasn't exactly into the whole intimacy thing - not with males, at least.

Which reminded him - now that he wasn't a Weyrling anymore, and had free reign, he really needed to get out there. Action was necessary. Just look at R'din, after all - who was notorious for being willing to bed just about anyone, female or otherwise. L'rien wanted in, too. Oh, not with R'din - Faranth, no! Ladies only, please. L'rien wasn't a whore, and didn't particularly want to be, either - he may have been daring and outgoing and, admittedly, foolishly reckless at times, but even he had some morals. Not that he wasn't perfectly willing to bed anyone Quentifith managed to outFly, but still...he wasn't one to throw himself at whoever was willing.

No, he wanted someone, not someones. But he did want somebody - now that he could; now that he had the chance...maybe it was just a longing to fit in as he always did, maybe it was because he was truly lonely when looking at other couples. Like N'lon and Felicia, for example. They were no secret. But whatever the reason...he wished he could have that too.

"Hey, go bother R'din," he suddenly suggested to D'lain. He would get nowhere just wishing and dreaming. He had to do something. And so his eyes locked onto a pair of girls chatting, along with And'r - Lez and Ali. Lez...well, he'd had a bit of a run-in with her as a candidate, but that had been a long time, and well, who knew? But Ali...well, she was something else. Yes, because she was a Violetrider...but she had a nice personality, too. It was worth a shot, right? Maybe she wouldn't look twice at him...but maybe she would. "I gotta go."

He sauntered casually - or tried to appear to, at least - over to the table occupied by the Crimsonrider, Violetrider, and Greenrider. "Hey," he greeted lightly, nodding to each of them. "Lez, Ali...And'r. What's up? Mind if I stay over here? One can only take so much D'lain, you know."

Quentifith snorted into the head of his rider. Good luck fishing for someone who can stand to be near you. I suppose now you want me to talk to Valexith or something. L'rien kept himself from rolling his eyes with an effort. Talk to whoever you want, Quen. Just don't you dare decide that sometimes during the future conversation would be a great time to say something embarrassing about me. Ooh, good idea...

Quentifith shook his massive head at his rider and turned his attention back to Heiyath and Neboth. He only huffed disbelievingly at the teal's words. Do not. And can not. We could outfly her ,right, Heiyath?

((We'd half-agreed on something of a conflict between Ali and And'r and L'rien...Vine liked the idea, but I don't know if Ice wanted to? If you are okay with it, Ice, then let the games begin. Otherwise is perfectly fine...and Lez is there too as a backup ))

[Ay'en; for Es'bel, R'din, and L'san]

Ay'en blushed and looked away as R'din laughed into his pie, about as close to sulking as it was possible for the bluerider to get. Or, not sulking precisely...humiliated? Embarrassed? Yes...he supposed he felt more humiliated. But...why? He didn't enjoy R'din laughing at him...or Zynsith...or Ileyvith...or Es'bel...Faranth he didn't even know who was being teased anymore. But he didn't like it.

"Don't let him tease you, Ay'en. He just thinks that everything is about sex."

Ay'en blushed again, but this time more with embarrassment about his own reactions than anything else. Why on Pern was he overreacting this way? He shook his head slowly, trying to sort things out. Ay'en didn't like it when things go so complicated...he preferred simple things. Not because he was simple-minded or had a one-track mind, but because he was usually laid back, preferring to deal with things in his own good time...but right now his feelings were all tangled up and he couldn't make sense of anything. He managed a nod and wan smile of thanks to L'san, though.

He was glad to have a reason to look at Es'bel, rather than staring at his own bubbly pie, when the tealrider questioned R'din's reasoning. He was gratified that Es'bel had the courage to contradict R'din when Ay'en himself did not - something in him stirred at how Es'bel had defended him. Though the tealrider really hadn't defended him - just Ileyvith....and Zynsith. Did defending zynsith count as defending Ay'en? Or did saying something wasn't very nice count as defending? Ay'en didn't even know why he liked the idea of being defended by Es'bel at all. All so confusing...

"I'm saying that Ileyvith isn't as tempermental nd picky as Neb. And that Ileyvith likes Zyn more than Neb does. "

The bluerider's head shot up and around to stare between the two tealriders at the last part. The temperamental and picky thing wasn't anything - that was true, and reasonable. But Ileyvith liking Zynsith more than Neboth...well, that was only reasonable as well, he reasoned...but why did he like the idea?

He slowly turned away from the pair of them. He needed to sort this out. He couldn't think. He wanted to unravel his feelings. Maybe here wasn't the best place or time - but he wanted to know before anything else confusing happened. Like r'din saying something else.

So, unravel. He liked the thought that maybe Ileyvith liked Zynsith. Why? Ileyvith meant Es'bel and Zynsith meant Ay'en...did he want Es'bel to like him? Why would he want to? He kept looking at Es'bel, as if he just couldn't seem to keep away from the tealrider's deep brown eyes and bright auburn hair, the way he got dimples when he smiled and how he always seemed to have something on him - bells, or ribbons, or flowers, or something - that made him so...him.

Ay'en hadn't known he knew all that about Es'bel in the first place. Why? Why...why...why...

Then he thought about all R'din was saying. And he thought about Flights and Rises and the way he wanted Ileyvith to Rise first, and Zynsith to catch her...

And it all made sense.

He turned back around and stared at Es'bel.

I...like him.

Relief spread through him at the revelation. Yes, it gave way to more thoughts and feelings...but it was okay, because now he knew what was going on, and could deal with it. That always made it okay. I like Es'bel. So simple! And simple he could work with. So much simpler now.

Still...didn't make feelings go away. He quickly dropped his frank stare and finished off his bubbly pie. He fancied Es'bel. And why not? The tealrider was nice, he was funny, he was easy to talk to, he was...everything that Ay'en wasn't, and something Ay'en was. And the bluerider liked that. Es'bel intrigued him. Es'bel made everything so...lively, so interesting. Nothing could be boring when Es'bel was around.

But he couldn't very well say all that, could he? At least...not here, not now...and sure as shards not with R'din right by them....

((this is going to be very fail. At this point my muse has run out.))

Azelle smiled at Da'im. "Thanks, and you're welcome." She'd been here two Turns, true, and a lot had changed in that time period - including her - but that didn't mean she knew everything about it. On the contrary... So maybe she wasn't the best at...remembering where she left things. Or where others left things. Or finding things in general. Oh well...

Akri cleared her throat slightly; time to get on. Azelle nodded, and the two chorused, "We shall," and shared a small smile for their simultaneous agreement. They moved forward with Da'im, as the crowd quieted.

((eh...to be honest, not quite sure how grad stuffs work...who's supposed to like...speak? Da'im or akri?))

"You see a lot of ineresting and strange things growing up with a group of traveling preformers. Great people, little strange at times, but hey thats what makes life interesting." And'r replied to Lez smiling.

And'r Looked up when L'rien walked over and asked if he could hang out with them; there was a few seconds of silence And'r spoke up, "Its fine with me..." Then looking towards the two girls for their opinions.

"Huh, well i guess i can't argue with that. I always did think living with a bunch of people might be fun, until i moved here anyway." She grined at And'r. "No offence, but somtimes i find myself wanting my own company, or Riveth rather then other people." Yeah it was the truth, but who cared.

It didn't matter to her. "Go ahead and sit." Though she did try her best not to sound annoyed, she still caught herself frowning. Only a violet rider would ever attract such a rider like him. Browns and Bronzes of course.
Do you find me so unhappy mine. I would never fly a blue, i would rather have a nice looking brown or bronze as you would a man.[/i] Unable to stop herself, Lez turned a bright red and looked away from the men. And i would only then pick the best flyer as you would a lover.
Must we have this conversation. She blushed even reder from her vary private thoughts...

"No offense taken, a little alone time away from everyone is always nice. It's great sometimes to just go off by myself and climb up into a tree or onto a ledge and relax and think sometimes. Everyone needs some alone time now and then, its normal; if anything is." And'r commented back.

After Lez gave L'rien permission to sit, he glanced towards Ali to see her opinion, but then in the connor of his eye saw movement and looked back around to see Lez turn a bright red and turn away from him and L'rien. Then she seemed to turn even redder if that was even possible...

"I'm going to guess its something Riveth is saying to her" And'r voiced to the other two, "wonder what it is...."

Well, if we don't have this conversation, who will. She scolded.
You sound like my mother. If she got any redder, she was going to blow smoke out her ears. Besides, the others are wondering what we are talking about, i don't want to give the wrong opinion, so can i go back to talking about nothing, rather then lovers.
Well, i could alwasy talk to one of the other females, I bet they wouldn't mind talking about it.
You gosip like old hens. She tried to stay focused on the people around her, but Riveth was just having to much fun.
Well, we may gosip as you say, but at least we have good tast in what we want from a mate. You should always check you chances and look around, maybe one day you will have a lover like i will a mate. But we can only hope it is one and the same rider and dragon. If you happen to get one, can it be a bronze.
No promises. Besides, i though reds liked browns.
Love, that would be a vary stuburn red we are talking about. We only want the best.
Of course, this coming from you i wouldn't expect any different. She grinned at herself, if only she didn't have a love sick creature like Riveth, then she wouldn't have to worry much about finding anyone to get along with, other then maybe a few girls or fellow riders like herself and And'r. Even Ali was better then having to find a guy who would most likely wind up chasing every female that flew.

Ali and Valexith

Ali covered a giggle. "Its fine And'r and it happens."

Valexith listened contently and agreed to show it to her rider. "AliMine heres what he was talking about." Valexith flashed the images to her rider with some chuckling on her part. "Its quite funny really AliMine" the iolet sung her head back and began to preen herself happily wanted to kept herself clean. She loved showing off her body.

Ali giggled even more at th epicture that popped into her head. "Thats quite funny And'r" She paused her train of thought as a boy walked to the table. It was the bronze rider L'rien. She blinked and looked at the others and then shruged. "I don't mind L'rien. Though D'lain is not to bad of a guy to be around." She was about to talk to And'r again when she noticed Lez was slding away from them and turning bright red. She blinked wondering what it could be when And'r said that it could have been crimson Riveth talking to her. She nodded her head in agreement as she shoke her head with a smile. She wasn't sure she wanted to know what the dragon was saying. "I plainly dont wish to know and that its Lez's and Riveths business." She stated softly.

Lez growled to at Riveth. If he chose to chase another female, let him, because he will always come back to me. She purred and Lez tried to drown her out of her thoughts. Looking back to the others, she saw Ali look away and caught what they said, and felt herself flush even more red (If it was possible).
"Um, so whats going on." She smiled and tried to shake off what Riveth was trying to tell her.

There was a slightly awkward silence for a moment, in which L'rien stood beside the table with one eyebrow raised, wondering if they were going to ignore him or what. They didn't, though, of course - in fact And'r was the first to voice his consent, followed by a frowning Lez. He wondered if it was because of what she'd been talking about earlier - whatever that was - that had made her look annoyed, or because he'd come over. Not like he could care less though, really.

Ali was who he'd really been waiting to hear, and when she agreed he flashed a wide grin and slid into the seat next to her. "Cool." Then he chuckled quietly. "Aw, no, D'lain's not too bad. He can be fun. But he's the kind of guy you need tot ake fifteen to twenty minute breaks from," was his subtle attempt at a joke. He was saved fro mhaving to come up with a conversation-starter by the sight of Lez suddenly flushing redfruit-red. The brownrider shot a glance over at her, eyes curious as well as slightly amused. What was up with her?

Apparently And'r wondered the same thing, as he quietly voiced an opinion, one L'rien had to agree with. It wasn't like Quentifith didn't say embarrassing things to or even about him on often enough occasions; he'd be willing to bet Riveth did too. But what would make Lez blush red like that? He didn't really know....And a moment later Ali murmured that she didn't want to know, and it was the Crimson pair's business. Well, maybe it was. Actually, he'd like to know - his curiosity had been aroused - but he wouldn't ask. At least not directly.

"Um, so whats going on?"

She was plainly trying to change the subject. L'rien grinned and shrugged. "Oh, the usual, dragons being embarrassing, weyrlings becoming riders, said riders escaping from overaffectionate other riders....the usual, nothing really new. Unless you two have anything else to add?" He raised an inquiring eyebrow at Ali and And'r - mostly Ali - with an impish smile on his face.

Somthing in Lez wondered just how much she could take before blurting something stupid out. Riveth was growling and still trying to raise her point, while Lez was getting a headach trying to ignore her. "Sounds normal so far." She flinched when Riveth hissed and tunned her out. What she wanted to know, was when this thing got over with. "How long before they get done do you think?" She looked at the WL and wondered.

"Yeah, not much to add to that, other than dragons embarrassing riders, and flight frights." And'r commented back, noticing how L'rien was looking at Ali.... And'r felt a small thread of jealous/warryness towards L'rien and then some resignation, L'rien had much more of a chance with her.... he was a brown rider and his dragon could actually catch Ali's... not to meantion he had been practically a self proclaimed leader of the weyrlings... how could he match that?

"How long before they get done do you think?"

"No clue, but they'll probably at least start soon, no idea how long it will take from there. Either of you know?" And'r answered Lez then questioned the other two.
