Personality: W'ren could be labeled as determined, or he could be labeled as down-right evil. He would agree to either or. Up-beat and alive with mirth, one look at W'ren and you would think you were looking at a lively Bluerider, yet when he opens his mouth, all thoughts are banished. He is able to hide his real meaning behind harsh words and uncaring jesters, all the while, insulting your mother with one word and praising her with another. Manipulative and aggressive, he doesn't care who is in his way, he will remove them if able and willing.
However, W'ren is still honor bound to Luci and her Gold Wrath. If it wasn't for them, he wouldn't have Kenjith and he would still be at his birth Hold, in the mud and dirt. Therefore, he is loyal to his Wing and Wrathcursed Riders, as the Black Obsidian Riders began calling the Riders of Wrath's children. He takes orders straight from Luci and no one else. Of course, he will listen to the advice of other Amethystriders, but that doesn't mean he will obey them. Hard-headed, stubborn, and willful, W'ren is defintantly a Rider that knows that he is important.
There is a softer side to W'ren, though he hardly shows it, save towards Kenjith. Kenjith is his pride and joy, as he would do anything for the dragon, even gorge the poor thing as a dragonet. Of course, his babying days are over, that doesn't mean he doesn't still dote on the Amethyst dragon.

History: Actually born at Black Obsidian Weyr, W'ren, born Wylvaren, was born to a Brownrider and a Greenrider. Sadly, his mother wasn't willing, it just so happen that his father's Brown had been trying to catch a Gold and failed, only to find a Green and mated with her. As his Brown got ahold of the Green, it's Rider caught the Green's Rider, pinning her down and raping the poor girl. She was only seventeen turns, and had been a virgin when the Brownrider took her in dragonlust.
Nine months later, Wylvaren came into the picture, but his mother was never able to see him. She died during his birth, thus he was passed into the arms of a drudge woman. Sadly, the drudge woman that took him was truly unable to take care of him, but her pride wouldn't allow her to give him to another. Thus, she raised him . . . . if you could call it raising. She beat him when he didn't do right, tortured him when it came time for meals, as she would eat until she could eat no more than allow him the small amount that was left. Her version of teaching him was forcing him to do her work, which only taught him the value of a hard days labor. In hindsight, his foster mother taught him the greatest things he would need in life . . . . she just went about it in the wrong way.
With a tough life, he pushed himself to be better than his foster mother. When she finally passed away, Wylvaren stood before her grave and laughed, thought about spitting on her grave, but thought himself better than such a low act. He was fourteen turns old when his foster mother died. From that day on, till he turned seventeen, he worked as a lowly drudge, building himself up and workign toward the goal of Head Drudge, possibly. He never saw that day.
He had been tending to the herdbeast, helping out another drudge who had become ill, when a Gold dragon swooped down, taking both him and a plump herdbeast off into the sky. He hasn't seen Black Obsidian Weyr since. When he first stood before Wrath and Luci, he had been frightened, but as he watched the older woman and her Gold perpare the eggs, he sort of felt a bond form with her. They had both been working toward a goal, though much different goals, throughout their lives.
It wasn't the clutch he had watched Wrath protect, but the next that he actually Stood and Impressed at. As he stood before the eggs, he remembers hearing the other forced candidate crying for family members that they would never see again, yet there had been some that hadn't cried. Ones like him that had gotten use to the idea of living at the Weyr with Wrath and her Rider and the countless other dragons that had come from her clutches. His dragonet was the fourth to hatch, but his had been the only one of his color in the clutch. An Amethyst, a beautiful dark plum hued dragonet that cracked open his shell so harshly that he actually cut his fraile chest. Blood had soaked Wylvaren's, now W'ren's, tunic, as he had tried to save his dragonet. Luckily, Luci had been there, mainly the number one reason W'ren has stayed by her side for so long. If it hadn't been for her, he wouldn't have his Kenjith, nor would he have been able to keep him.

Dragon
Dragon name: Kenjith
Dragon color: Amethyst <660066
Kenjith is a dark violet hue that almost appears black in certain light, but is noticeably plum violet whenever he moves. He is a solid color, with hardly no differences in his hide, save for scars along his sides and chest.
Dragon age: 14
Dragon personality: Kenjith is a very special dragon, and he knows it. His mother taught him from a young age that it was she who should be the Senior Queen of her own Weyr and he will do anything to make that dream of her's come true. Protective and loyal, you wouldn't think sweet Kenjith would be capable of hurting or harming anyone. But like his Rider, he is ruthless, pledging his life to Wrath and Luci, and the downfall of all those who stand in her way. Most of the scar on his body is from taking care of dragons who disagreed with Wrath's and Luci's goals.
