Hair: Azelle's hair is a light, strawberry blonde, with noticeable streaks of darker red flashing through it. It's cut short, in a pixie-like manner from her days in the wild, but she's thinking about letting it grow out.

Personality: In the two Turns of living at Black Obsidian Weyr, Azelle has reinvented herself. She's strived to shake off the effects of being Shunned and living alone and everything else she's been forced to do. In many ways she's been able to become much the same girl she was before being Shunned.
Azelle is an open, curious young woman. She is still somewhat shy, but is opening up. She is the type to let her emotions rule her, so be glad that for the most part her temper is a small one. Friendly once shew gets to know you, love nature, is a romantic, generally happy girl but doesn't think of her past often as she would rather think on the future. Somewhat forgetful but good teacher.
Family: She doesn't think about it much. Doesn't even know if they are still alive

History: Azelle was born in Delesia Hold, to Azri and Rellin. Azri was the hold's harper, and Rellin was herdsman. She also had an older brother, Raveri. For ten Turns, all was well for Azelle.
But when Azelle was ten, something tragic happened. A fire was intentionally started in the fields one morning, burning the crops and killing many herdbeasts. It was during a wet season, though it wasn't raining that day, so it couldn't have been a natural fire, and there was evidence of it being intentional. All the signs pointed to Azelle's family, and the current Holders suspected Rellin because he and the Holder had recently had a dispute over the herdbeasts ready to be sent to the weyr. Rellin did not like dragonriders, and he thought too many were going to the Weyr. The Holder thought he had burned them so they couldn't go to the dragonriders.
They were unrightly Shunned, and forced to wander the land around the Hold. They survived a few Turns, but then Azri and Rellin fell victim to a pack of starving felines while Revari and Azelle were out hunting. Suddenly, Revari and 13-Turn-old Azelle were left to fend for themselves.
It only lasted two Turns. Revari broke his neck when he tripped over a tree root, and Azelle was alone. For the past two Turns, she and Revari had been keeping entirely away from others, in the forests in the mountain range, and Azelle stayed that way afterwards. At 16, she accidentally found a substance that would wash off the Shun tattoo, though she had made it by accident, and didn't know how to make it again. But when she spilled it on her tattoo, it washed off, to her relief. But by now, she didn't feel at all comfortable around other people, and elected to stay on her own.
nearing her 17th Turnday, she found a strange, giant rock in an open plain. Before she had time to inspect it fully, it started cracking, and a dark dragonet fell out. A dragonet was all it could be, even Azelle knew that. To her amazement, a voice erupted in her head: AzelleMine, your Emberyth is here!

From that day on, Azelle was bonded to Emberyth, who she named an Ash dragon, from her dark, ashy hide. For nearly three Turns they lived together, until they strayed close to the Weyr and Emberyth saw others of her kind for the first time. Strongly drawn, the Ash wanted to go to the Weyr. Azelle wasn't so sure, but Emberyth was getting lonely without any of her kind and Azelle didn't like to see her Ash lonely. So they ventured to the Weyr, and when Azelle discoered what it was like, and all the things she hadn't known to teach her Ash, not to mention that the Weyrwoman had also once lived wild, she agreed to stay.
Two years she has stayed at Black Obsidian, and is finally learning to fit in. Somehow she even got promoted to the position of assistant Weyrlingmaster! [/size][/center]

Dragon color: Ash (one time sport color, female Onyx) - Emberyth is a dark, dusty black, with flecks of grey in her hide. Her wings are longer and thinner than usual, and her tail is even longer.

Dragon personality: Emberyth is reserved as an Onyx, or Ash, should be, but she is also very curious, which is why she couldn't resist a closer look when she saw other dragons for the first time. She is intensely protective of Hers, and isn;t afraid to do daring things.
