Sonia wasn't sure where they were suppose to go. The caravan had said that they should walk a ways to the weyr and hail a rider for lift. But she wasn't sure it was safe to get Josi up to the weyr as pregnant as she was. Her belly was just so round. Taking a break for what seemed like hours of walking, they were across the fields and now near the trees under the weyr itself. Josi had her tounge out panting for air as she sat back on her haunches. "Maybe it was a better idea to hail a rider." Sighing, she groaned and Josi barked. "I know, i shouldn't complain. I'm the one who diecided to go for a walk." She chuckled petting her behind the ears.

And'r was on patrol duty, flying out around the weyr. He noticed a woman with a dog down below the weyr.
Hey tary, she looks like she might be lost we should go check it out!
Alright mine. We can check it out. Are you sure you don't just want to flirt with this woman?
The look And'r gave Taryshth was pricless, it was the type of annoyed just be quite/oh shut up please look that kids sometimes give their parents when they find the obnoixious.
hehehe, your so easy to tease mine
And'r just remained silent to this.
Taryshth landed down near the Woman and her dog, from up close And'r could see the dog was pregnant, very pregnant.
"Hello, are you lost? or would you like a lift to the Weyr if thats where your headed?" And'r asked the woman.

Wingbeats above had her looking up. A green was flying down to them and from this angle, was a full grown mature green. She'd been told that many of the weyrlings were full dragonriders now and that it was a perfect time for her to go to the weyr. Waiting patently, she covered her eyes and waited for her wings to stop.
"Hello, are you lost? or would you like a lift to the Weyr if thats where your headed?" And'r asked the woman.
She grinned and got to her feet. "I'm a little lost, i was going to walk to the weyr, but couldn't find the way up." She said turning slightly red. "That would be nice, but my dog, she is vary pregnant..." She trailed off. She didn't want Josi to go into labor if they betweened, or if she paniced. She could already see the slight pull of the lips as Josi begain to growl and whimper. Her tail was out straight, her ears were back, and she was looking straight ahead the rider. "Oh, i forgot to introduce myself, I'm Sonia and this is Josi." She smiled. She looked him over and thought cute. He was vary cute, but she didn't know One: how old he was, Two: She didn't know if his dragon would like that, And Three: If he even liked girls.

"Well I guess you could wait here for her to have her pups if you know how to do that... But no clue how long that would take... hmmm would Josi be able to manage a short flight, It'l only take like 5 minutes to fly directly to the weyr, And I'm sure Taryshth here will try to fly extra smoothly..." And'r suggested, "oh, and the way up is on the other side of the weyr..."
And'r looked the Woman over, She was Pretty and looked to be a few years older than he was, but not that many. He had to wonder what brought her to the weyr.

She smiled at him. "I guess we could try that, i'm just worried she could...panic." She looked at Josi and wondered for a moment. "I know how, but i don't think this would be a good place. I know wild dogs can, but she's not wild enough for that." She looked back to him and saw him looking rather hard at her, she blushed and for a moment thought cute and single. But he of course was a dragonrider. Stuttering a bit.."Well...um...lets go." She made to step foreword, but stopped when she looked at the green again. Confusion swept across her face. "I've never....ridden a ...um... dragon before." She turned red and figited with her fingers.

V'ake of Brown Bahneth After receiving orders from Weyrleader Z'dyn to ride out with And'r on patrol, V'ake had been a bit disheartened when the slightly younger Greenrider had suddenly disappeared, but once he figured out that his orders had been given after Greenrider And'r had already left the Weyr, V'ake saw nothing to hold it against the Rider. Well . . . . I guess we'll start the patrol after we find And'r, what do you say, Bahneth? V'ake questioned as he crawled into the saddle of his Brown.
Hopefully Green Taryshth hasn't gone far, the big Brown purred as His climbed in the saddle and got ready for their patrol. It is strange that Silth's would give us the order after Taryshth's and she had already taken to the sky, the Brown pointed out, causing His to think a bit more on the subject. I don't question Weyrleader Z'dyn, but I am like you . . . curious. We will just have to leave curiousity to those o nthe ground and look for And'r, V'ake stated, as Click and Moss landed before him on the saddle horn. "Not this time, my little beauties. Bahneth and I will be flying fast and long today. You two must entertain yourselves here at the Weyr," the Brownrider stated, watching as Moss slowly started to fly back to his private weyr, but Click stayed on the saddle horn. The little bronze flitt looked up at him with concern, as he hadn't left the two alone since bonding with them in his seventh turn. "Fine," he sighed, opening his riding gear vest. He winced as the bronze's talons dug into flesh. Moss returned and settled in the extra fabric at his left side, while Click got the right. "Now see what your spoiling them has done!" V'ake mock-berated Bahneth, only to find the Brown chuckling at him. With the Brown in the air, his flitts at his side, V'ake felt at home. He was glad that he had decided to show up at the Sands the day Bahneth had hatched. As am I, Bahneth inturupted. Taryshth is just up ahead, Bahneth suddenly added, before bugling a greeting to the grounded Green. Concern was laced within his bugle, wanting to make sure the Green wasn't hurt, but as he landed, he found the younger dragon fine. "Greenrider And'r!" V'ake called from his saddle. "Everything ok?" he questioned, slipping from Bahneth's back to the ground. He didn't move toward the Greenrider, cautious around the canine that he saw with the strange female. It wasn't fear that held him back, but the knowledge that if the Greenrider truly needed him, he would call out to him.[/blockquote]

"Yeah, everything's fine V'ake, well mostly. This is Sonia and that's Josi." And'r said indicating each one as he said their names, they were err are headed to the wyer, but got lost. The problem is currently that Josi here is pregnate and Sonia fears what might happen if we try to fly them up. Josi might panic and dogs are probably going to be pretty akward on dragons anyway...... hmmm you know what if we had a net or something like a sheet, laid her in it and had one or both of the dragons carry thay up?"
Hello, Bahneth. Your looking good today, recent oiling? how are you and yours?
that might just work mine
thanks
why your quite welcome mine, even you can occasionaly come up with an idea thats not too complicated or crazy

V'ake of Brown Bahneth
Listening to And'r explain the goings on of what he had come upon, V'ake had to nod his head to the Greenrider's idea. The first thing that had come to mind for him had been have one dragon fly above the other, Josi on the above dragon, Sonia ride with the one below. It would have simply been a safety if the canine paniced and slipped, the bottom dragon would be there to catch her. He liked And'r's plan better and even had a way to help. "And'r . . . I have just the thing that will help with that idea," V'ake called as he had Bahneth lower himself enough for him to reach the pack that was tied to the back of Bahneth's riding saddle.
Greetings Taryshth. Mine and I are just fine . . . I was able to corner him just this morning and oil me. How about your and Yours? the Brown questioned the Green, lowering his head until he level with her chest, seeing as V'ake wanted something out of the pack at the back of his saddle. Of course, being a kind male, Bahneth kept his eyes from just rolling all over the Green, but he couldn't help but notice that she was looking very pretty on this day. And what about you? Have you cornered Yours and have him oil you? You are looking very pretty. Flattery, flirty, simply being sweet to a pretty female, call it what you want, but it was simply Bahneth.
"Here it is!" V'ake called as he pulled out a long, brown wherry hide coat. The ends, when worn by V'ake, ended just above the ground. It had been a gift from one of the cooks who had found out that it had been his Turnday once day. Something V'ake just couldn't get rid of, but hardly worn anymore, due to the rising heat. "Think we can put Josi in this and have one of the dragons hold it in their claws, while the other flies below with Sonia talking to the canine?" he offered. [/blockquote]

Sonia couldn't help but feel vary paniced. Josi had never ridden on a dragon, but then nither had she, what made matters worse was that Josi was pregnant. "Um..." They were having this hole conversation on who could carry Josi and then who would carry her. Josi growled at the new dragon and walked over too Sonia for a petting. Rubbing her head, she squated down next to her and scratched behind her ears and calm her down a bit.
Growling low in her throat, Josi panted and thumped her tail on the ground while Sonia petted her. Her belly bulged out further while she sat on her haunches, showing quite a bit of just how heavy she could be.

"So, do you want to try this or not?" And'r said turning from the conversation to address Sonia, "Its really all up to you in the end."

V'rake of Brown Bahneth Of course, V'ake had to nod as And'r stated that it was up to Sonia in the end wither or not they tried his idea. It could work, if Josi stayed perfectly still, or Sonia was able to keep her still enough that she didn't struggle and cause one of the dragons to lose their grip. "Of course . . . . If you don't think this will work . . . . And'r and I can take turns carrying the canine up to the Weyr," the Brownrider stated, not really liking his second idea.
It wasn't that he couldn't carry the canine . . . it would be difficult, but not impossible. It was the simple fact that neither he nor And'r knew anything about the female pair, and canine or not, the pregranat canine would not like to be touched with her being so heavy. Plus . . . it was a long walk back to the Weyr. [/blockquote]

"carry? why not just fly up and come back with a cart? much better ride for Josi there." And'r suggested at the though of carrying the dog.

Second thoughts ran around her head, but it was up to her wasn't it. Kneeling down in front of Josi, she scratched her head and rubbed her ears. "We can try, but when we do this, keep me in sight and try not to sqeeze her." She addressed both the men and the dragons for good measures, then looked back at Josi. "OK girl, i need you to be vary nice to these men, they are going to take us up to the weyr." The cart idea seemed to be a good idea, but she didn't know if Josi would go into labor today or tomarrow, not with the date unknown. "So, who am i riding with." She looked back to the men and still couldn't help but eye And'r.

V'ake of Brown Bahneth I will carry the canine, Bahneth spoke up, actually allowing his thoughts to carry from one human to another, along with Taryshth catching his words. He had a double meaning behind them, as he wasn't interested in the unknown female riding so closely to His, while not wanting to burden Taryshth with the canine. "I guess that is settled," V'ake stated, stepping forward.
His hands were held out infront of him, not interested in frightening the canine. It was one thing to frighten off a wild canine, but this one would be basically sitting in his lap on the short ride up to the Weyr. "Anything I should know about her? Beside she looks about ready to burst?" he asked, eyeing the canine, while slowly stepping forward. [/blockquote]

Sonia smiled and nodded, though she was a little surpised to hear a dragon in her head, she looked up at the brown and green a little confused. Was it the green that spoke, or the brown, then when V'ake seemed to step foreword, she was quite suprised. "She is a little jumpy about her belly, and being jolted around a lot." She remembered the ride here and wondered just how much longer till the pups were born. "I don't think she'll have a problem with sitting still, but she may have a problem with heights, she's never been higher then the ground." Of course she herself hadn't, but then she'd learned to take what you got.
