Green Wher Moody, slow to befriend, protective of her handler 7CFC00 Appearance This green wher is small, even compared to an average green wherling. She will only reach 1.8 meters. Her wings and tail are average size, though her tail is a bit smaller by about two inches. One thing that will set her apart from other green whers is her legs. She has long legs for a green wher, and it adds to her ability to be fast and good at leaping a good distance. Now her hide... her hide is a refreshing green color like the blades of grass you see just after a spring rain. Vibrant and wet. Her hide is a solid brilliant shade, and though her hide is not metallic, she will be a very beautiful wher when she's an adult. Personality Moody, slow to befriend, protective of her handler Mindvoice Her mindvoice is like the wind softly blowing through tree leaves on the ground, calm and soothing. A nice contrast to her personality, but don't get used to it. If anyone should dare to harm her handler, her mindvoice is as harsh as the biting wind in the dead of winter, chilling and cold. But when she confers with her handler, her mindvoice is like that of a bubbling brook, bright and happy.

Okay, so...Ice showed her cute little wher-love, so I get to show off mine too! Ice, if you have a problem with me posting this in the same thread ,tell me. But anyway this is Tolsk and he is the BESTEST WHER I COULD EVER HAVE! So...here's his hatcing post! Of the seven eggs that had come all the way from Crom, only three remained on the sands, nestled up by Rusk’s side. This was the second time in the bronze’s life where he had been seen to babysitting eggs. Normally with Marsk around the young queen would be given this task, but she had tried to attack the eggs a few times so both Rusch and Marta had agreed that the bronze should be left in charge alone. So far all had gone well and the bronze hadn’t turned away any of the candidates. Now the fourth lad to be presented to him was gently cradling his chosen egg in his arms. Rusk gave a soft warble to the egg, as it gave a wobble. This world was just as inviting as that inside the shell, not to mention it was more fun. Apparently nervous now the egg almost paused in its motions… but soon resumed, shaking again. For a wher that was trying to get out of its shell something about the motions of the egg was restrained… perhaps the young one was content to take its time. It was not nearly as egger as some of the earlier hatchings, one of which had ended up bouncing on the floor a little bit.
Ah, it nearly broke that time … another warble… those little veins are so pretty… is that light out there… With each short wobble tiny cracks in the egg began to widen like veins; the spider webbing cracks soon encased the whole egg and then just seemed to slide away. Eggshell style rain fell from the candidate’s hands and there sitting within his gasp was a sticky newly hatched wher. One sticky twin taloned paw raised and shook itself, the egg mucus flying about and hitting a few people in the face. Oh… he shouldn’t do that, it would make people messy. A soft little warble escaped him and if anyone didn’t know better it might have been that the young wher was excusing himself and leapt down from the lad’s arms. The mucus covering his feet caused him to skid a little on the stone floor and he ended up thumping his chest on the ground with an ‘oof’ sound. Well… that was embarrassing; attempting to gather his feet under him the young wher wobbled a little more… only to slip again once he was upright. Ok… that wasn’t working… oh… and the sand… between his claws was not helping.
This time when he tried the young wher’s tail and hind quarters were wiggling back and forth as if they would somehow balance him out… No luck through as he soon wobbled over and landed with another ‘oof’ sound on his side. That might just be the answer; he could reach between his toes if he sat down. His right hind paw shot into the air like a Wingleader giving the mount up order. Out if his mouth came his tongue and the young wher began to wash himself down. When he was done a satisfied warble escaped him as he turned back to the one who had chosen his egg… only… he had forgotten to put his tongue away and it was hanging out over his bottom lip… His clean hide glistened in the half light of the wher sands and his colouration was nearly an eye sore in its right. Sure he was no lime green wher, but he a deep russet red that was so clear against the stones it might as well have been the red star; but once your eyes adjusted to the contrast his tone was quiet charming; even if some people might point out later that it was kind of inconstant.
All of his body was a rich russet brown, bar for the blanket like marking that was splattered over his back, it was a mottled collection of blacks and dark browns. In fact the little blanket on him was quite charming as he took a few more padded steps towards his handler. A faint ‘slurp’ was heard as he finally remembered to draw his tongue back inside his mouth. Hello Tolly, your Tolsk is hungry. Can Tolly feed his Tolsk? the request was almost cut short when the brown saw that he had managed to splatter egg mucus in the face of his bonded. Tolsk is sorry about that, please no punish Tolsk.

Player Name:IceFire ----- Name: Solstice Species: Firelizard Age: 4 turns Gender: Female
Appearance: (base coat is 0099CC and markings is 0066CC) She has a solid turquoise coat with darker tribal marking on the front legs and neck. She has a tribal marking that comes down from behind her horns to the middle of her forehead and makes a gem like marking there. She is larger then most known turquoise. Her wings are also longer not hindering her in flight nor on the ground. She tends to fold them back against her body. Her tail is long to match her body and very much like a whip and willing to use it. All of this making her look regal like. Though Solstice is tall and she is very lithe and slightly dangerous with her body.
Personality: Though pretty on the outside she is not so on the inside. She strives for attention and is willing to award people a sharp nip if not giving to her. She is a brat of sorts and to her it seems normal. She thinks herself Queen of all the firelizards even over the other golds and blacks and other such igher firelizards and is willing to prove it. The only time she is not going after her bonded for not showing her attention is when she is feeding, sleeping, sunbathing, or mating that goes for either her or her bonded.

And here is my other Rukaispawn...my wonderful Lanzoth <3 Dragon humming had dispelled any pervious concerns about the crimson’s clutch and the sands filled with candidates and spectators as the eggs rocked. One of the dragon eggs seemed to be rocking in a rather unusual way; that it caught the attention of a few people, even though some of its siblings were already showing signs of hatching this little egg drew some odd attentions. With a little shake the egg seemed uncertain of the best way to shake in order to hatch. In one moment it was as if the egg was huffing and snorting and the next it was nearly bouncing with eagerness. Its mottled surface of blue and cream began to show a few faint signs of wearing down. At first the tiny spider webbing cracking was near impossible to see as they seemed to stick only to the darkest parts of the egg’s exterior, but were there all the same. Another ‘snort’ styled shake shook the egg again, this time though the action had been accompanied by an actual snort from within the egg. It was time to come out… if only this infernal shell would move. Time to come out; time to come out! Again the egg started to bounce as if it had gotten overly excited by its own hatching.
One final bounce was all it took and the damage shell shattered; sending dragonet and shards everywhere. The little one’s arrival into the to the world was hardly graceful; in fact some might have called it embarrassing, even as the spectators leaned forward to trying to pin down the little one’s colours when the dragonet had disappeared in an explosion of obsidian sand. Another, smaller explosion of sand was to be had as the dragonet snorted again, not impressed with the way the egg had opened after all that effort. Even so the young dragonet had enough enthusiasm left to bounce back to its feet. In doing so the last of the obsidian sand that was lose feel away from the dragonet’s hide. There was still a coating of the sand clinging to the younger dragon though – stuck as it had been by the mucus from within the egg. In fact a few fragments of the discarded shell had also joined the mix; making the dragonet look like a cream and blue specked obsidian. Shuddering and snorting the last of the sand and egg mix cracked and fell away; revealing a young blue.
Or at least blue was colour most decided on after giving him a second glance. So dark was the young dragonet in colour that he might have been an tinted obsidian, but when he took a few steps forward it was made clear that he was blue; even with the light rippling on his he didn’t appear to change colour like some tinted dragons. Instead he was blue through and though, just rather dark at that. In some respects he resembled both stone and a storm. A bright slate blue with a fine build; his wings were the perfect size as was the rest of him – well his chest was heavy anchored and his tail a little wispy as it was a tad long, but there was nothing wrong with him. Snorting in a dismissive manner again the dragonet cast his eye over the group of gathered candidates. Then in what might have been a sudden change of mood he threw his head back and warbled before charged towards the candidates; a strong bounce evident in his stride. On reaching the group he thrust his nose into the candidates; there were so many of them! Hopefully they would all be his friends, even if he couldn’t pick them all.
Someone grabbed his tail and the dragonet whirled about to playful tag the small weyrbrat who had escaped onto the sands; his mother apologizing to the dragons before carrying him away. Cocking his head after the woman the dragon it couldn’t help but wonder why she would do that; then he decided he didn’t care and looked back towards the candidates. Somewhere there was his person, he could feel it in his bones. Pushing further into the group he still couldn’t find the one he was looking for. It wasn’t until he was past the main group if candidates that he felt like he was at least getting close to the one who was meant for him. Nearly on his own now the young blue pressed up towards the male candidate who seemed more to content to watch that partake; this one… Taminy was his. Tam’ny; why do you hide back here? Why are you not over there with your friends? was the question as he nudged his rider, assuming the other candidates were friends of his.
Tam’ny… what is that? Is it for your Lanzoth? asked the dragonet as he poked the notepad that had been hastily hidden under the lads candidates robes. Come to think of it; I don’t care anymore. amended the dragonet before the newly minted dragonrider could answer.
Come on; I need food. Then we can catch up with your friends; you can introduce me!

I colored the pic, but because i didn't have photoshop in the house, i can't make them like the others. But i'm trying. Name: Shalev Age: 4 turns Color: Bronze Bio He was born from a golds clutch of ten. Only eight hatched to reveal good colors. One gold, two bronzes, two greens, one red, one green, a blue and hazel. His bronze brother was a stripped bronze who imideatly took advantage of the others by fighting them all and gaining his rights. He took a few swips off Shalev but Shalev got out just in time to run, only to become lost and fine himself in anothers territory, a greens. He learned from the green and when he was almost full grown, came upon his red sister who had many scars. Her tail was shorter from being torn, a leg was torn and almost backwards. He soon left the territory to find his own and now lives alone trying to keep a small profile. He is close to the weyr and notices a rather young gold and brass wher, steaking a territory out, he planes on chaseing one or both of them. Physical Description: Personality: Territoryal. He would do anything to catch a gold or brass to show himself off. He loves a good hunt and will steak out any area of any woods to keep his rights of the prey. Stubborn, he likes a good round with any female, but still prefers the golds and brass.

Whers Dragons Ferals weyr dragons New wher like mine(with discription) am waiting for the last one to hatch Male Demon Wher (Kenzsk of Kenzie) Highly mischievious, loves to pull a joke on his handler, and enjoys looking good 220000 Appearance This male demon wher is so dark a red as to be almost mistaken for a black at night. But during the day, there can be no mistaking him for any other color but a demon. The brighter light makes the pure, unblemished red of his rough hide shine clear, but the darkness leaves it dull and colorless. He is rather on the smaller size for a demon wher, only going to reach barely 2.4 meters, because having a gem for a mother and a brown for a father limited his potential. His wings are smaller than they should be and won't be a big help to him at all, but a muscular build will make him a powerful runner and fighter if the need should ever arise. Personality Highly mischievious, loves to pull a joke on his handler, and enjoys looking good Mindvoice His mindvoice sounds like the rustling of a soft velvety cloth. Very soft and velvety, though with a deepness only a male would be able to have, as far as whers go. His mindvoice takes on a firmer tone if he senses his handler is in any danger, hard as stone and unyielding. When he is speaking with his handler, his mindvoice is light and energetic, excited sometimes with a bit of composure. All bases and coloring are done by Mellody and profiles are done by Darwin.

*huggles Valtesk*
Since we're showing off our dragons, I'll post a blue I recently Impressed on my PBeM. He's absolutely perfect for my character!
Name: Meisth (mys-th)
Hatched: m4.d27.p11.t17 (New Dreamer's Clutch)
Colour: Blue
Physical Description: A handsome creature, Meisth is a bright blue and not one to be missed. His hide is a vivid indigo blue with navy blue points darkening his face, legs, and tail. Combined with his well made, masculine features and it’s no wonder that he rarely goes unnoticed when in a crowd. He’ll definitely be noticed as the good looking one. Subtle tones of pastel indigo cross over the back of his wingsails, making him seem like his wings are almost knitted in appearance.
An athlete, his good looks combined with his stature and physicality make him hard to refuse. At 31 feet in length he’s one of the larger blues but he’s proportional with it. Never too bulky and never too lean, he’ll have enough stamina to last most of Thread flights but be quick enough on his tail to chase after even the most spirited greens. He’ll be surprisingly deft with his hand-like forepaws and is able to complete delicate tasks.
Quiet and soft spoken at first, Meisth’s voice is a lovely baritone but shy to hear. When he loosens up he will laugh brashly and talk quickly with a lot of confidence, but it takes a lot of time for him to get to that level. Once he does though, he’ll joke around with others like they’re his best friends.
Personality: He’s not physically hard to overlook but the first thing others and his rider will notice is that Meisth is quiet. In fact, despite being so handsome and a fine example of a blue, Meisth seems almost shy. He’s cheery and good natured but talking isn’t easy for him. In fact, talking to strangers and trying to melt into a group is hard for him. Every time Meisth misses the chance to tease or put in his opinion his rider will hear Meisth’s litany of self curses. If only he was more brave! Faranth, wouldn’t it have been funny if he actually had said that? Regret comes easy to him and he’ll bemoan the fact that he just didn’t have enough nerve to pipe up and put out his opinion. Though he’s good looking, sometimes he just fades into the background because he doesn’t talk readily.
Meisth is a good friend to have though. Fun, he likes to do things that require moving around. Far from lazy, he likes to be up and moving. If his rider is less physical than him he’ll bug them to get up and out. There’s so many things to do he’d rather go do them than just sit around and consider it. Meisth isn’t very good in social situations but he likes to be in the thick of things. Observant, Meisth is the quiet leader sort. He has the potential but needs to be driven towards it. Worried of making himself look silly, he tends to take the safe route of things. But if his rider can push to make him realize how strong he is and how clever, he can widen his horizons and try more things. Meisth has leadership potential backed by intelligence. He’ll try hard and want to do the best without being overtly competitive. He’ll get along with Doriath easily but if their romantic relationships cross lines there’ll be trouble. When it comes to females, Meisth prefers one flight stands. He’s a green chaser and takes delight in it. Though he may be quiet he’s great with the ladies. Polite and generous he likes gifts and tries his hardest to keep them interested. Once he’s settled he’ll be a giving lover and will be very gentle. However, heartbreak is something that will be hard for him to deal with. He’ll swing from wildly angry at the offending female to desperately wanting her back. What’s worse is that he has a tendency to hold grudges. Meisth may not remember why he’s angry with a green but the feelings of hurt will linger. If a heartfelt apology is given he’ll be more likely to consider being friends again but it takes a lot to get back into his heart once it’s broken. Meisth doesn’t like being played the fool and heartbreak will teach him to guard his emotions. Being the female after the incident happens will be hard; he’ll be less likely to trust and will put a new lover through the ringer in order to determine if she can be trusted. Once Meisth is secure in a situation, he’ll open up and people will be surprised by how clever he is. While he prefers to take the safe road, he’s a good out of the box thinker. He can analyze a situation swiftly and point out where it might fail. In fact, if he feels really compassionate about it, he just might start talking with a vibrancy that will have others floored. One thing to keep in mind though is that Meisth is conservative in his views. He’ll pay close attention to weyr politics and expect his rider to. Meisth finds male dragons with female riders to be odd and does not approve of the choice and though he’ll never hold it against them, he’ll be clear about his opinion if pressed to tell it. He’s also for traditional type weyr rules. He’ll never show frustration over being expected to be a certain rank because of his blue hide and he’ll show some annoyance at any dragon who rebels against this sort of system. Things just feel more natural to him that way and he’ll chide his rider if they are more liberal in their weyr views.
When it comes to Thread, Meisth shines. He seems to lose his inhibitions and let go, not afraid to take charge when the situation tells him that it is necessary to. He fights fiercely but sensibly. He’s not prone to foolish mistakes and from early weyrlinghood, he’ll be marked as a blue who keeps himself sensible during Thread. However, because of his traditional views, Meisth will always defer to a bronze or brown during Threadflight. He’ll stand up if he feels that a certain plan of action will endanger his wingmates but otherwise, he’s perfectly happy to be a quick blue playing the game.
