Da'im nodded in understand at R'im's answers to his question. Da'im was surprised at the cream rider's reaction to Morth's comment and wraped his arm completely around R'im's shoulder and squeezed gently. "I know R'im" he whispered softly to the other rider in acknowledgement. He was somewhat hurt by the idea R'im would not like his dragon to be chased even if it was just Morth. "Do you really think it would be that bad?" His voice was quivering as he asked. His eyes were on the ground as he wondered if he was really that bad.

When Da'ims arm came around R'im, he didn't jump but looked up. he felt a little better that he was nice enough to try and comfort him, but why was a little question trying to make its way to the front of his mind. He couldn't help but hear the hurt that came from Da'im, was it his imagination or were things really going this far, but he couldn't help himself, he didn't want to hurt him.
"No, i think i'm overreacting. Probably late hormones or something." He tried to lighten the mood with a little joke, but it didn't seem to settle all that well. From the look on Da'im, something took ahold of him and he wrapped his own arms around him, almost like he need to comfurt him or something he started to pet him. "I'm sorry, i didn't mean..." what didn't he mean to do.

Da'im blinked and looked at R'im as the other man wrapped his own arms around him. He was surprised by the mans words. He shook his head and smiled weakly. "No R'im you shouldn't be sorry. It's my fault for not containing my emotions better." he said softly before looking at the ground. He knew he was being foolish acting like this. Apart of him told him he had work to do and no time for this kind of play while another said he deserved it after all he had been through.

Putting a stubborn look on his face, he pulled back and crossed his arms. He had a sudden irg to give this man a lecture, but could help himself and smiled. "From what i've just heard, it sounds more like you want to lock away anything you can." Was he really doing this, to a man that was ranked in this weyr. "Here is an idea, we are both sorry, but better then that, you helped me and i've helped you in return, or tried, some advice from a pro, don't lock away everything." A memory of his fathers rage sent a chill down his spine. He swallowed back his fear and waited for the other man.
Saryth stopped her grooming to look at the two. She was happy that her's had finally grown a backbone, but she was worried, he'd just had a emotion change and her own seemed to be ruleing her for right now. She crooned to him and softly whispered ecouraging words to her's as she moved so Morth could reach a certain spot that had suddenly grown itchy. Ours seems to be doing fine. Don't you think....[/color] She ended with a purr.

Da'im looked down at the other man's words. "Whats happens if you lock it away R'im." He asked as his furrowed his eyebrows at what possibly make it any worse then what he had. Closed off by alot of people and had pushed most that had wanted to be near him. His eyes glowed a honey color as he chanced a glance at the R'im.
Morth watched Saryth as she looked at their riders. She sensed something going on and looked towards them as well before noticing that Saryth had moved to show another spot that itched.
Ours seems to be doing fine. Don't you think.... She said as she purred at the end.
"Yes they do Saryth" he purred to her before attacking the spot that bugged her

Sighing, he looked at the dragons then back. "You become someone else and then you aren't really that person either. Your emotions, memeories, everything, is who you are and if you lock them away, then even Morth here will be unable to know who you really are." He laid a hand on Da'im's shoulder and squeezed. "I had to lock away a lot with my father, it didn't really help anything, but Saryth seems to be helping me come back." He smiled at the end.
Her eyes swirled with all sorts of colors, her moods were changing quickly as she couldn't help but feel sad then happy for hers. He tried so hard for her and she did what she could to make him happy, but right now he need a human too. Sighing, she kept her eyes on R'im as she turned towards Morth.
