I would like to know why the one character per account would be useful. What's the point? I'm not asking to be mean, I'm honestly curious because the only positive part of having a setup like that is that you can more accurately put a colour on a username. Which for me isn't essential, so it's a minor positive. What are the benefits to having one character accounts? You've all heard my arguments against, I want to hear the arguments for so that we can really balance the pros and cons.

Lol . . . I spent all day yesterday, while at work, and the night before, talking with my boyfriend, about the benefits of one character per account. I told myself I would come up with a valid reason by today, but I couldn't. It seems in my attempt to simply have the board in veiwing order, that would have been the only advantage.
Like you stated, Amie, you have several characters that are seen together, as do I. And you are right, it would work if the Weyr was bigger and there was less chance for several of the same account characters arriving at the same point. So, other than veiwing order, I have nothing. [/blockquote]

I want to keep Es'bel/Ileyvath and Z'dyn/Silth. I never really played Krehlor that much, and Meda didn't work as well as I thought she would.
I want to apologize for disappearing from the site. My absence didn't do anything to help the general inactivity of the site, and I feel bad for letting plots I had with people go unfinished. I don't really have a good excuse for it. I will be active again in the new BOW, and I can help out with anything you need.
As for the account issue, I too vote nay. I like to have multiple characters and I find it annoying to have to log in and out whenever I want to post with a different character.

Thank you for your vote, Book, and Es'bel and Z'dyn have been moved to the Saved Characters board. [/b] And Charm . . . . As far as help, if ANYONE has any ideas for a new plot, that doesn't happen that far into the future, by all means, express it! Other than that, I'm going to change the rules up a bit, and hopefully get a new skin up. If you want to work on a new skin, that would help a ton. I suck at skins.[/size][/blockquote]

Well, what I say is: natural disasters are ALWAYS win. Hurricane, fire, earthquake, flood...most threats seem to come from Thread, so it's always good to have a different kind of danger. This would, of course, be but a small miniplot.
As for a bigger plot (And I freely admit to basing this idea off of a former plot at Rukai Weyr, a site I am an admin on) is to have something giant happen that divides the Weyr....a squabble over leadership, for instance. Something that makes people take sides. Something that will eventually be resolved but is great for excitement.

oooh! I thought of something!
This may not actually work unless more people with Weyrlings get on and want to keep them, but....So everyone knows we have very few full riders, and with the redoing of everything, we'll have even fewer, How about a plot in which either Cometh's or Lunith's weyrlings, along with the Weyrlingmaster, time it to the future, complete their training, and then come back to the present as full-grown riders? It would be logical, as well as make a nice stir-up. I'd suggest Lunith's, if we were to do it, because they are younger.
Just a suggestion, and I'll admit it is rather half-formed and not thought out. Just something that popped into my head and I figured I'd share it

Nince thinking Charm. It would make sense, buty what if we do something else. What if we instead, jump a few turns making the dragons not full grown, but grown enough that they are almost full blow riders. Still in some training, this could be a plot like the one before with the sides splitting, i know a few of my character would have dissagreements and a few other of the site would. I don't think haveing them time it is a good idea, think of this, what would happen if they timed it wrong or somthing, or they jump to far. you know. All those time problems. So i would just age the character more, but keep the new hatching from happening for a long time. It would work. Skin Idea: I think if we change the dots to represent new threads to a different thing, like whats on my site, people would be able to see what is new and old. If you like, i would go find that site again and you all could get a few of the colors, or rather, i think I'll just go post a few of the colors. Icon Post < This is the post i just finished that you can go take a look at. If you like any, just pm me for the hyper links that would be used. If you want to make it easyer, i can do it myself, or do you already know how.

C-box has vanished so I'll post this here. *points to upper left corner of screen* do you really mean Hadi Weyr, or is it BOW?

[*looks wide-eyed at the icons* I have absolutly no idea how to do them, but either Charm can do them, as she offered, or Shifter can do them. Either way.
As for the box above, I'll change it. I brought it over from my other site and thought I had chagned everything from Hadi to BOW. And as for that blasted Cbox . . . . It ran away. One moment it was here and the next it was gone. I must have killed it. I'll get another one as soon as I get off work. [/blckquote]

Dragons can only go back in time, not forward, so going to the future wouldn't work. But timing it to the past was used in the books for weyrlings to grow up faster, so it might work.

I'm not really pratical to any one, I like all three, but I think the last two look more like dragons, whereas the first ones kind of look like they could be firelizards, so I would pick one of the last two styles, and not the top one.
Thanks for putting up a new Cbox, Charm.
Alright . . . . The 10th is fixing to be upon us and I want to try and get BOW reopened as soon as possible, not wait and see how long it takes it to die again. So I went ahead and put up a poll for the new plot. All we have are Charm's ideas, but everyone is welcome to post new ideas and we'll vote for them too!!! If I missed anyone's already posted ideas, I apologize. I went back through the board to see if anyone had posted any other ideas and couldn't find any. [/blockquote]
